Marzipan Labs builds software. We take on problems where the engineering is genuinely difficult and the result is expected to hold up over years rather than quarters.

What interests us is a narrow thing done properly: software with real machine learning inside it, where the intelligence is invisible and the product simply behaves as though it understands. That is considerably harder than it sounds, and it is the reason the company exists.

We are deliberate about what we take on and unhurried about finishing it. Everything that carries our name is held to the same level, and that level is not negotiated with anyone outside the company.
